RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Last Updated: 28 August 2026

At YUMMY DRINKS LTD, we take pride in supplying quality beverages and providing a reliable wholesale service to our customers throughout the United Kingdom.

We understand that occasionally there may be a problem with an order. This Return & Refund Policy explains how we deal with damaged products, incorrect deliveries, shortages, defective goods, cancellations, returns and refunds.

Please read this Policy before placing an order.

1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy applies to products purchased directly from YUMMY DRINKS LTD through our website or through another sales channel operated by us.

Company Name: YUMMY DRINKS LTD
Company Number: 16631177
Registered in: England and Wales
Registered Office: 17 Gunhild Court, Cambridge, England, CB1 8RF

Our wholesale services are intended primarily for businesses purchasing products in connection with their trade, business or profession.

This includes, for example:

    • retailers;
    • convenience stores;
    • supermarkets;
    • wholesalers;
    • distributors;
    • restaurants;
    • cafés;
    • hospitality businesses;
    • food-service operators; and
    • other commercial customers.

Accordingly, this Policy is primarily written for business-to-business (“B2B”) sales.

2. PLEASE CHECK YOUR DELIVERY

We ask customers to inspect their delivery as soon as reasonably possible after it arrives.

Please check:

    • the number of cartons, cases or pallets received;
    • the products supplied;
    • quantities;
    • packaging condition;
    • visible damage;
    • leakage or breakage; and
    • whether the products correspond with your order.

Where reasonably possible, any obvious shortage, damage or incorrect delivery should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Reporting an issue quickly enables us to investigate it with our warehouse, courier or delivery partner

3. DAMAGED PRODUCTS

If products arrive materially damaged, broken, leaking, or otherwise unsuitable for sale because of damage occurring before or during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.

When submitting a claim, we may ask you to provide:

    • your order number;
    • invoice number;
    • product name;
    • quantity affected;
    • photographs of the damaged products;
    • photographs of the outer packaging;
    • batch or lot numbers where available;
    • best-before or expiry information where relevant; and
    • a brief explanation of the issue.

Please do not dispose of damaged goods until we have confirmed that they may be discarded, as they may need to be inspected or collected.

Once a valid claim has been confirmed, we may offer an appropriate remedy such as:

    • replacement products;
    • replacement of the affected cases;
    • account credit;
    • partial refund; or
    • full refund for the affected products.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances of the claim.

4. INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If we have supplied a product that is materially different from the product you ordered, please notify us promptly.

Please provide:

    • your order number;
    • details of the product ordered;
    • details of the product received; and
    • photographs where reasonably requested.

Where the error is ours, we will arrange an appropriate solution, which may include:

    • arranging collection of the incorrect products;
    • sending the correct products;
    • issuing account credit; or
    • issuing a refund.

You should not intentionally open, use, distribute, or resell products that you know have been supplied incorrectly if you intend to return them.

5. MISSING PRODUCTS OR SHORT DELIVERIES

If your delivery contains fewer products or cases than shown on your order or delivery documentation, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

    • Please provide:
    • order number;
    • invoice or delivery-note number;
    • product concerned;
    • quantity expected;
    • quantity actually received; and
    • any relevant photographs or delivery documentation.

We will investigate the discrepancy with our warehouse and/or delivery provider. Where a shortage is confirmed, we may:

    • deliver the missing products;
    • issue account credit; or
    • refund the value of the confirmed missing products.

6. DEFECTIVE OR QUALITY-RELATED PRODUCTS

If you believe a product has a manufacturing defect or a genuine quality issue that was not reasonably apparent when the delivery arrived, please contact us promptly after discovering the issue.

Examples may include:

    • defective packaging;
    • unexpected leakage;
    • damaged seals;
    • contamination concerns;
    • unusual product condition; or
    • another genuine product-quality issue.

We may require:

    • photographs;
    • batch numbers;
    • production codes;
    • best-before dates;
    • details of storage conditions; and
    • samples or return of the affected products.

This information may be required so that we can investigate the matter with the manufacturer, producer, supplier, or relevant quality-control team.

Where a valid product defect is confirmed, an appropriate replacement, refund or credit will be provided.

7. FOOD SAFETY CONCERNS

Product safety is important to us.

If you believe that a Yummy product may be unsafe for consumption, please:

stop using or selling the affected product immediately and contact us as soon as possible.

Please retain:

    • the product;
    • packaging;
    • batch code;
    • best-before information; and
    • any relevant purchase information,

unless we advise otherwise.

Where necessary, we may escalate the matter through our product-safety, supplier, or recall procedures.

Nothing in this Policy restricts any obligation relating to food safety, product withdrawal or recall.

8. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS — WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS

Because YUMMY DRINKS LTD supplies food and beverage products on a wholesale basis, we do not normally accept B2B returns simply because a business customer:

    • changes its mind;
    • over-orders;
    • orders the wrong quantity;
    • later decides it cannot sell the stock;
    • experiences slower-than-expected sales;
    • no longer requires the products; or
    • ordered a flavour or product its customers do not prefer.

A wholesale order represents a commercial commitment.

However, at our discretion, we may agree to accept a return in exceptional circumstances.

Prior written authorisation from YUMMY DRINKS LTD is required before any such return.

9. CONDITIONS FOR AUTHORISED RETURNS

When we agree to accept a non-defective product return, products must normally:

    • be unopened;
    • be unused;
    • have intact seals;
    • remain in their original packaging;
    • have original labels intact;
    • be in clean and resaleable condition;
    • have been stored correctly;
    • have sufficient remaining shelf life;
    • not have been exposed to inappropriate temperatures or storage conditions; and
    • not have been damaged after delivery.

We reserve the right to refuse returned products that do not satisfy these requirements.

Authorising a return does not automatically mean that a refund has been approved. Returned goods may need to be inspected first.

10. PRODUCTS WE CANNOT NORMALLY ACCEPT BACK

Unless a product is defective, damaged when supplied, incorrectly supplied, subject to a recall, or otherwise required to be accepted by law, we will normally be unable to accept returns of:

    • opened beverages;
    • partially consumed products;
    • products with broken or removed seals;
    • damaged products where the damage occurred after delivery;
    • products that have not been stored in accordance with applicable storage instructions;
    • products that have been altered or relabelled;
    • products that cannot safely be resold;
    • expired products;
    • products with insufficient remaining shelf life due to delay by the customer;
    • products purchased as clearance or specially discounted stock where stated as
    • non-returnable before purchase;
    • specially ordered products sourced specifically for a customer; or
    • products that have already been distributed or resold by the customer.

This does not affect remedies available where goods were defective or non-conforming when supplied.

11. UNAUTHORISED RETURNS

Please do not send products back to our registered office or any other address without contacting us first.

Food and beverage returns may require specific handling, warehouse authorisation, and traceability procedures.

Products returned without prior authorisation may:

    • be refused;
    • be returned to the sender; or
    • not qualify for a refund or credit.

Once a return has been approved, we will provide the appropriate return address and instructions.

12. RETURN DELIVERY COSTS

Where a return is required because:

    • we sent the wrong products;
    • the products arrived damaged due to circumstances for which we are responsible;
    • there is a confirmed product defect; or
    • another verified error which was caused by YUMMY DRINKS LTD

We will normally arrange or cover reasonable return transportation where a physical return is required.

For discretionary B2B change-of-mind returns accepted by us, the customer will normally be responsible for the costs of returning the products unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Large, palletised or freight returns must not be arranged without prior agreement with us.

13. COLLECTIONS

In some cases, we may arrange for our courier or logistics provider to collect products.

Customers must:

    • package the products appropriately;
    • make the agreed products available for collection;
    • ensure quantities correspond with the authorised return; and
    • follow any collection instructions supplied by us.

A failed collection caused by the customer may result in additional reasonable transport charges.

14. INSPECTION OF RETURNED GOODS

Returned products may be inspected before a refund or credit is approved.

We may examine:

    • product condition;
    • packaging;
    • quantities;
    • seals;
    • batch information;
    • shelf life;
    • evidence of storage;
    • the reason for return; and
    • whether the goods correspond with the return request.

If returned goods are damaged after delivery because of customer handling, incorrect storage or inadequate return packaging, we may reasonably reduce or refuse a discretionary refund where legally permitted.

15. REFUNDS

Where a refund has been approved, the refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless:

    • another method has been agreed;
    • an account credit is requested and accepted;
    • the original payment method cannot reasonably receive the refund; or
    • Another arrangement is required for a business account transaction.

We aim to initiate approved refunds as soon as reasonably practicable after the claim or returned goods have been verified.

After we issue a refund, the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on:

    • your bank;
    • card issuer;
    • payment gateway; or
    • payment method.

Processing times imposed by external financial institutions are outside our direct control.

16. PARTIAL REFUNDS AND ACCOUNT CREDIT

Depending on the circumstances, we may issue a refund or credit only for the affected products, rather than for the entire order.

For example, if two cases are damaged within a delivery of twenty cases, the remedy may relate only to the affected two cases.

For approved business customers, we may also offer an account credit or credit note that can be applied against future purchases.

Where appropriate, the customer will be informed of the proposed remedy before the matter is completed.

17. ORIGINAL DELIVERY CHARGES

For B2B orders, original delivery costs are not normally refundable where:

    • the delivery was completed correctly;
    • the goods were supplied correctly; and
    • the return has been accepted solely as a discretionary change-of-mind return.

Where an entire order is rejected or refunded because of a verified error for which YUMMY DRINKS LTD is responsible, we will consider the appropriate treatment of delivery charges as part of the claim.

Any mandatory legal entitlement will be respected.

18. CANCEL AN ORDER BEFORE DISPATCH

If you wish to cancel a wholesale order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an order has not yet:

    • entered picking or packing;
    • been prepared specifically for the customer;
    • been dispatched; or
    • otherwise become committed to fulfilment,

We may be able to cancel it.

Cancellation is not guaranteed once warehouse processing has begun.

Where an order has already been dispatched, it will normally be treated under the applicable returns provisions of this Policy.

19. REFUSED DELIVERIES

A business customer should not refuse a delivery simply because it has changed its mind about the order.

If an otherwise correct delivery is refused without our prior agreement, we may recover reasonable costs arising from:

    • transportation;
    • redelivery;
    • return freight;
    • handling; or
    • other direct costs reasonably caused by the refusal,

where permitted by the applicable contract and law.

This does not prevent a customer from appropriately refusing products where there is a genuine and material issue with the delivery.

20. STORAGE AFTER DELIVERY

After delivery, the customer is responsible for storing products appropriately and following any storage instructions appearing on the products or packaging.

We cannot accept responsibility for deterioration or damage caused after delivery by matters such as:

    • excessive heat;
    • freezing where inappropriate;
    • direct sunlight;
    • moisture;
    • contamination;
    • improper handling;
    • incorrect warehouse conditions; or
    • failure to follow storage instructions.

21. BEST-BEFORE DATES AND SHELF LIFE

Our products may carry best-before or other applicable date information.

Customers should check stock rotation and date information when receiving and reselling products.

Where a particular minimum remaining shelf life is commercially important to you, don’t hesitate to contact us before placing your order so that any specific requirement can be discussed.

Unless a particular shelf-life requirement has been expressly agreed in writing, remaining shelf life may vary by product and production batch.

22. PRODUCT RECALLS AND WITHDRAWALS

If a product supplied by us becomes subject to an official or voluntary product recall or withdrawal, we will take appropriate action and may contact affected customers.

Customers must reasonably cooperate with any genuine recall or withdrawal instructions.

Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include:

    • replacement;
    • refund;
    • account credit; or
    • another appropriate arrangement.

Business customers that have already distributed affected products should follow any traceability and recall instructions communicated to them.

23. CLAIMS CAUSED BY CUSTOMER HANDLING

A refund, replacement, or credit may be refused where an issue has been caused after delivery by:

    • improper storage;
    • mishandling;
    • unauthorised modification;
    • damage by the customer or a third party;
    • failure to rotate stock appropriately;
    • resale after relevant date information;
    • tampering with packaging; or
    • use contrary to product instructions.

This provision does not apply where the underlying issue already existed when the products were supplied.

24. PROMOTIONAL AND CLEARANCE PRODUCTS

Certain clearance, short-dated, or specially discounted products may be sold subject to specific conditions.

Where a product is sold as:

    • clearance stock;
    • short-dated stock;
    • discounted stock; or
    • stock with a specifically disclosed characteristic,

that information will be communicated before or at the time of purchase where relevant.

A customer cannot normally claim a refund merely because of a characteristic that was clearly disclosed and accepted before purchase.

This does not affect rights relating to undisclosed defects or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

25. WHOLESALE ORDERS AND STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any legal right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where applicable to a business sale, products supplied by YUMMY DRINKS LTD remain subject to the contractual standards imposed by applicable UK law.

Our reporting periods, inspection procedures and return requirements are intended to allow us to investigate commercial claims efficiently and are not intended to remove rights that cannot legally be restricted.

26. IF WE SELL DIRECTLY TO CONSUMERS

Our website is primarily intended for wholesale and business customers.

However, if YUMMY DRINKS LTD expressly accepts an order from an individual acting wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession, that person may be treated as a consumer under applicable UK law.

In those circumstances, this wholesale Policy does not remove or reduce the consumer’s statutory rights. Depending on the transaction and product, consumers purchasing at a distance may have rights including a statutory cancellation period.

Certain statutory exceptions may apply, including in circumstances involving goods that:

    • are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; or
    • have been sealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons and become unsealed after delivery.

Where statutory consumer rights apply, they will take priority over any conflicting provision of this Policy.

27. FRAUDULENT OR ABUSIVE CLAIMS

We reserve the right to investigate claims where there is reasonable evidence of:

    • fraudulent refund requests;
    • altered photographs;
    • repeated unexplained claims;
    • deliberate product damage;
    • false shortage claims;
    • chargeback abuse; or
    • other misuse of our returns process.

We may request additional information before approving such claims.

Nothing in this clause prevents a customer from making a genuine complaint or exercising a lawful right.

1. Order number

2. Business/customer name

    • website functionality;
